Who is Emmanuel Ohuabunwa?

Emmanuel Ohuabunwa is a Physician, businessman, author and motivational speaker, who is passionate about minority empowerment and determined to make a difference. from Abia State, South Eastern Nigeria, In 2012, at the age of 22, emerged best graduating student from renowned John Hopkins University, USA.

He did Nigeria proud by becoming the first black man to make a Grade Point Average of 3.98 out of 4.00 to bag a degree in Neurosciences in the University. He was also adjudged as having the highest honours during the graduation that was held in May 24 2012.

For his efforts, he won a scholarship to Yale University to pursue a degree in Medicine, graduating in 2017. In early 2019, He was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Society, a prestigious honour group that features membership of 17 US Presidents, 37 US Supreme Court Justices, and 136 Nobel Prize winners.

As a conversation partner,Emmanuel Ohuabunwa helped with the assessment of the extent of patient defects using various alternatives to speech, since most could not speak fluently. They communicated using hand-written phrases (usually with the non-dominant hand), art, music and sign language. Furthermore, Emmanuel also participated in a project that utilized iPhone apps, and visual and auditory cues to help patients speak fluently.
