In the process of comparing yourself with youth from other nations, you forget your uniqueness & strength.

You graduated from the university without being indebted to the school. School loans aren’t common here, but you struggled to pay off your debts before graduation.

You run your small business on your own because business loans from financial institutions aren’t easy to come by.

You don’t have credit cards on loan to purchase whatever you want, but you still manage to buy what you need. Nobody kuku send you.

You’re living in an apartment or sharing it with someone from your pocket. No mortgage loan from anywhere. That’s why your savings for rent is a priority.

You’re mindful of your health because you know there’s no free healthcare system for you. When you’re down, you treat yourself with your money.

You budget for transport every month from your little earnings because you know there’s no free transportation system here. All man for himself.

Despite all these responsibilities, you still manage to send something home to your parents & siblings.

And you think you’re not doing fine?

See, the money fit never come as we expect am, but if we tell ourselves the truth, we go see say we dey try.

Nothing was handed to us!
